Two U.N. workers hurt in Eritrean landmine explosion
ASMARA, Dec 6 (Reuters) - Two U.N. contractors were seriously injured when their car struck a newly laid anti-tank mine last month near the tense Eritrean-Ethiopian border, the United Nations said on Wednesday.

أسمرا : adoulis قامت السلطات الإرترية مساء أمس الاثنين باعتقال الصحفي والمذيع المعروف أحمد عمر شيخ و اقتياده إلى جهة غير معلومة حسب إفادة مصادر مقربة منه ولم يتسنى للمركز تأكيد الخبر من جهة محايدة ، إلا أن مصادر عليمة لم تستبعد ذلك لكون عدد كبير من الصحفيين العاملين في أجهزة الإعلام الرسمية قد تم إعتقالهم في الأسابيع الماضية وتم إطلاق سراح واحد منهم خلال هذا الأسبوع دون إبداء مبررات واضحة لذلك .

Asper wishes to tell you all its solidarity for the great demonstration that will take place in London. We are very glad that this demonstration is organised by the main Eritreans associations in England for the defense of the human rights for their people. We think that the rightest way to reach the goal is to join together for a common project. In Italy as well, we are working in order to create a co-ordination for peace, democracy and justice in Eritrea together with many different associations.
