Expelled from Sweden and forced to live in Italy in extremely poor conditions, suffering from deep depression, he hang himself on a tree among the rubbish of the dismisses caserma Forlanini were he used to live together with other Eritreans waiting for asylum documents. When his companions found his body, they occupied the road stopping the traffic in order to draw the attention on what happened.

Police forced them to move by sticks (see picture above). Near the place of the suicide , the women of the Eritrean Community in Milan were celebrating the Women Day singing and dancing. The fest continued in the general indifference about the actual tragedy. Some of the women started also to insult the representative of the Association Mossob and Asper who were distributing flyers(*) about the continuous repression of the Eritrean regime, the violation of human rights in Eritrea like arbitrary imprisonment, persecutions and tortures.
