Haile Menkerios new Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs

UN Secretary-General  Ban Ki-moon  has appointed Mr. Haile Menkerios as his new Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs, succeeding Mr. Tuliameni Kalomoh of Namibia.  Mr. Menkerios is currently the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General for the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
